Vanuatu is a magnificent paradise of over 80 islands that are inhabited. Led by their capital city of Port Vila on their Efate island, this sprawling oasis in the southern Pacific Ocean is incredible. It can be found roughly 2500 kilometers northeast of Sydney, Australia.
Port Vila is not only the capital of the country, but also the central location for its governing bodies. Originally named New Hebrides by the infamous Captain James Cook, it became an independent nation in 1980 after more than 70 years of being jointly governed by France and England. At some point it was renamed Vanuatu and has since begun to shine as a tax-free business haven for many wealthy business people and individuals.
